Earrings – Wire Grass Paper Pulp
These earrings were made by hand in Central Australia using products made and collected on the million acre cattle station we call home. The paper used to make this piece of jewellery is hand made from the native Central Australian Grass in the Old Abattoir.
These earrings each have a Wire Grass Paper Pulp beads. These round pulp beads are made from the last of the paper pulp before we make sheets of paper and are rolled by hand, dried and drilled to make a different type of bead, with a very different texture. These were made from really dry grass and are almost white in colour. We are calling them our ‘paper pearls’.
We hope you enjoy your wonderful piece of jewellery, knowing it is a handmade and one-off piece.
Earring drop approx 4.5cm

Please keep in mind that each bead and piece is individually made and whilst design and colours will be consistent, individual pieces will vary slightly.
