Necklace and Earrings/Mulga Grass Pulp Beads
Made by hand in Central Australia using products made and collected on the million acre cattle station we call home. The paper used to make this piece of jewellery is hand made from the native Central Australian Grass in the Old Abattoir.
This piece is made from hand made Mulga Grass Paper pulp beads, on brown silk chord with small wooden beads. These round pulp beads are made from the last of the paper pulp before we make sheets of paper and a rolled by hand, dried and drilled to make a different type of bead, with a very different texture.
