Employment – Curtin Springs

Curtin Springs can employ a range of short and long term staff.

When we have positions available, they can be advertised on Facebook pages or other relevant sites, including here.

Please note, that due to the 2026 fuel crisis, the tourist visitors to Central Australia are very low, so currently we have no positions available on the tourist side of Curtin Springs.

For Curtin Springs Station, all our positions are for long term, permanent staff and are not suitable for WHV applicants.

A Message from Curtin Springs
As we continue to navigate the challenges of the past few years, including the impacts of COVID-19 and ongoing economic pressures, we want to express our sincere gratitude for your ongoing support and understanding.
Central Australia, like many other regions, has faced significant difficulties in recovering from these challenges.
Many local businesses, especially those in the tourism sector, have had to make tough decisions to ensure their survival.
To help us continue to provide the year round support for visitors, we kindly ask that you:
• Respect our resources: Please be mindful of the services we can offer and the costs involved in providing these services.
• Appreciate our unique location: Focus on the incredible experiences we can provide, rather than what we can't.
• Plan ahead: Book your accommodation and activities in advance to help us manage our resources and staffing.
• Travel safely: Please avoid late-night travel.
The summer is the quiet part of our tourism year. Winter is usually (and hopefully!) our busier time. However, 2026 is throwing another curve ball.
Our current operating hours are:
• 7am - 7pm daily
• Breakfast and Lunch: 7am - 2pm
• Dinner: 5-6.30pm
Please plan your accommodation or campground check-in for before 6pm.
